Our History
2001
Ashcroft Terminal starts its business as a family owned operation.
2005
Internal rail track is constructed for storage, transloading and staging, 4 customers sign on to integrate their supply chain activities.
2011
Ashcroft Terminal receives a matching grant through the Asia Pacific Gateway Corridor Initiative (APGCI) to expand critical infrastructure.
- Q2
6 customers use Ashcroft Terminal as a supply chain solution.
2014
The APGCI expansion project is completed, resulting in a 5,000 ft lead line directly off the CP mainline and improvements to grade seperation and internal road systems. Terminal users increase to 11 shippers.
2018
Terminal users increase to 21 customers.

Ashcroft Terminal begins a $28.2 M terminal expansion with $9.8 M co-funded through the National Trade Corridors Fund.
- Q2
PSA International acquires a 60% stake in Ashcroft Terminal, marking their first investment in North America. Ashcroft Terminal becomes a member of a vast network of supply chain professionals from over 19 countries and 50+ terminals.
2019
26 customers use Ashcroft Terminal to maximize their supply chain.

15,000 ft. of new track becomes operational as part of the infrastructure expansion co-funded by Transport Canada. This increases the total internal track to 46,000 ft.
2020
- Q2
Infrastructure continues to expand and terminal users increase to 31.
- Q4
Construction on multi-commodity warehouse ends. Official opening in Q1 2021.
2021
- Q1
Multi-commodity warehouse becomes operational.
- Q2
CN infrastructure expansion complete with 15,000 ft. of track added off the CN mainline. Total rail infrastructure increases to over 60,000 ft. of track.

Fixed fuel infrastructure expansion complete.
- Q3
Canadian Tire Corporation acquires a 25% stake in Ashcroft Terminal. The partnership allows Ashcroft Terminal to further invest in infrastructure and capacity growth for the long-term, benefitting all of its customers.
- Q4
NTCF expansion project complete.
2022
Constructions starts on 120,000 sq. ft. import crossdock and warehouse facility.
Additional rail infrastructure expansions ongoing.
2023
120,000 sq. ft. import crossdock and warehouse facility scheduled for completion.
